Like you said, if they really want this project to go through, they should put up signs on the buses that pass through the area (both local and express), as well as the subway stations on 34th Street.George Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15288033149559815848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5862444008740250372.post-38715408092379501442011-03-01T08:34:57.606-05:002011-03-01T08:34:57.606-05:00Done, and thanks for the nudge.Done, and thanks for the nudge.nathan_hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12427083977923133797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5862444008740250372.post-89967902130876278422011-02-28T22:17:46.889-05:002011-02-28T22:17:46.889-05:00It's possible, George, but it would be a reall...It's possible, George, but it would be a really bad idea. If 34th Street remains the current way , businesses and residents have ZERO access to curbside during the day.
That ought to make the locals happy... but no they scream anyway against progress...christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10217564344311042182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5862444008740250372.post-5538779524096646392011-02-28T11:06:06.769-05:002011-02-28T11:06:06.769-05:00Just one question: Is it possible to complete half...Just one question: Is it possible to complete half of the busway? From what I’ve heard, the residents in West Midtown aren’t opposed to the busway. If opposition from East Side residents is that strong, the busway could run as planned from 9th Avenue (or 12th Avenue or wherever the busway is supposed to start from) to Madison Avenue, and then leave the portion east of Madison Avenue as a regular street. At least it would benefit riders from West Midtown, as well as Staten Island express bus riders.George Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15288033149559815848noreply@blogger.com
