I was thinking recently, and I realized that I couldn't remember ever seeing a map of the City Council districts by household car ownership. I took
the car ownership census data from
the Tri-State/Pratt factsheets,
the map from the Department of City Planning, and used the Gotham Gazette's
City Council district information as a reference.
The color code is as follows, in terms of the percentage of households with no cars:
Green | 75.5-82% |
Yellow | 64-75.5% |
Orange | 51-64% |
Red | 34.5-51% |
Purple | 10-34.5% |
Enjoy!
Just to be clear - those numbers are the percentage of households without a car, correct?
ReplyDeleteYes, thanks. I've edited it to make that clear.
